Preparing Hon and To

I have been long concerned myself with the circulation of media in society, thinking about memory, philosophical themes, and the movement of images in the digital age, mainly related to technology. An adventure in my spare time was looking into the structured series of questions and answers in strolling through back lanes of megacities. There I had to adjust consistency to my discoveries particular to the locality.

The narrative I'm building up should bring the story from the end of an alley through a district and into the megacity, where I explore by repeating my self posed questions of these cities. As the narrative unfolds, I continuously limit myself to my technical choices. I am handling my image making alike poetic activities similar "looking for the special light" in a nearby rundown building - thus establishing an oddly strict code of conduct in how I see the spaces in front of me. Continuously trying - and failing - to forming an emotional connection between the technical aspect and the romantic idea.

The lo-fi aesthetics related to the early analog film cameras and the classic black and white images of known photographers transports me into a bygone virtual universe. I'm curious myself how the work produced might turn out. It will be part of my new work Hon and To. What it is ……? Wait for it and find out.

Kind of a handbook how do it better

Looking for Hon and maybe finding as well To in the archive
