Big Medium Format in Porto
Traveling through Portugal, I took my Fujifilm GF670, which makes for a great traveling tool, and with which I fell not awkward when I take it out for a walk. The Fuji is as well known as Bessa III in the European market, but I got a Japanese model, the standard one which comes in silver.
It is a medium format camera that records 6×7 (10 exposures) and also will do 6×6 (12 exposures) using a 120 film. It folds and in this way needs less space in my camera bag.
Taking a medium format camera, which is traditionally big the GF670 by contrast, is a great to bring to the street. It is equipped with an electronically controlled leaf shutter and conveniences like aperture priority auto-exposure and LED reading for the shutter speed in the viewfinder.
The digital enthusiast might find it entertaining, but I found that simple is mostly better. It is like the Leica brand philosophy. If you are into medium analog photography and want the best possible quality, this camera should be on your shortlist.
