A photo walk in Hanoi's Old Quarter

A favorite free thing to do in Hanoi

I don’t know when I heard or read about the Market's in the Old Quarter in Hanoi for the first time but I know it was in connection with a story about the true Asian feeling. Aty least something along this lines. It was about then that I started daydreaming about visiting the market and bumping into this Asian  tohowabohou. As I arrived here last year I was astonished that there is not only one market but dozens and each of it has it's own flair.

Today we visited one of the smaller ones - I call it a drive in market - (but it this they all are in a way drive in) nd had some early Saturday morning fun before heading for a cup of well earned coffee.

Here some of the images I took.
