Today at Labor Day I get a group together from the Hanoi Photo Club and we decided to stroll around Truc Bach and part of the quarter behind the dyke. Luckily against all odds the weather had been optimal. That was a relief for everyone. the second day with sun shine since Tet, Vietnamese New Year, great!
The theme at labor day was chosen appropriate in spite of the public holiday - people at work. But as everyone know there are always people who has to work even on holidays just think of hospitals, police, public transport and on and on. Apart from this working groups we found a lot of others working as well. Restaurant, little coffee shops, the wet market and last but not least Bia Hoi corners (Beer halls, corners) which we took as well for a well earned break in between.
Today we've been eight photographers and everyone could get good images and was satisfied with this half day activity. I hope that the weather will stabilize like this for the time coming to have some more outings in and around Hanoi.
Thanks to all participants helping each other when they needed some advice. Here some images of the photographer crowd.
