Bandoneón at the opening of Argentine Tango in Hanoi

Before telling something about the event yesterday I want to state that I'm always amazed what can be done on the mobiles today with different apps like photo gene, iMovie and blogging apps to create content for the web on the go.

But now to the Tango evening. As you can read in Wikipedia:

Tango is a style of ballroom dance music in 2/4 or 4/4 time that originated among European immigrant populations of Argentina and Uruguay (collectively, the "Rioplatenses"). It is traditionally played by a sextet, known as the orquesta típica, which includes two violins, piano, double bass, and two bandoneóns.

The bandoneon (in Spanish: bandoneón) is a type of concertina particularly popular in Argentina and Uruguay. Here used at the opening of the evening. Here some images and a short clip to give you an idea what it was all about.
