Hakanasa - Life is a phantom petal

Springtime is reaching around the world and Vietnam has got its share over Eastern in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) as well. There is a Japanese word " HAKANASA" which came up in my mind as I was strolling in the streets of HCMC. This word means the aesthetic philosophy of people and the delicate beauty of spring blossoms. Naturally cherry blossoms in Japan but I find it true for any comparison of beauty in people and flowers. It is the fragility of life - brief and dreamlike - similar to the fleeting beauty of flowers.

I had the possibility to take some images of dreamlike beauty and of an fleeting moment in parts of HCMC the old Saigon and like to share them with you.
