It brings hope to the producer of crops. Still, a question mark hovers in the air. Will it rain through the season? Will it rain enough? Rain just in time for the sowing? As always, too much at the wrong time, or too less, and the economy can move for the toss.
All depends on where you live in India. The monsoon is significant in India. Today, after coming back from an extended journey I took my first monsoon pictures. People scurrying for cover caught with and without umbrellas was today's theme.
All the dust and dirt accumulated is washed away. The buildings and towers seem freshly laundered. The city takes on a glow, and all are literally entering a new season.
