On my latest walk along Marine Drive, I decided to shoot film... at least enough of it. The motivation? Because of my ongoing analogue series document story of Mumbai. Since my project is about film photography in Mumbai, I decided to live and breath film for a while. It's not hard to do so in a city like Mumbai. The film prices are much higher here as, in the rest of the world, the availability of analog film cameras and accessibility/pricing of photo labs seems adequate and to find a lab to develop and scan a film is not too complicated. Three-day black and white developing and scan? Not a big problem. If you love to shoot film, Mumbai should be on your next analog photography adventure.
