Queensland - Brisbane
Brisbane, the capital of the State of Queensland has a Population of about two million people, which makes it the third largest city in Australia.
Overall I found it has a positive attitude and confidence as expected from a new world city. Developing is an ongoing theme and it seems in a forward thinking manner. There is a youthful enthusiasm and arguably a most vibrant atmosphere. Like most Australian cities the outlays are sprawling on a large area with different districts which have their own features and characteristics.
At CBD, the major business area you’ll find several shopping malls, cinemas and the historical tourist sites. South Bank has many ethnic restaurants, edgy cafes and museums and galleries.
What I liked most was the GOMA, Gallery of modern art. Here some sketches I did about the city.
